What if a Contractor turns up on site but have not completed the Online Induction but they are in as a Contractor?

If a Contractor Staff arrives at your site and the Contractor has been Activated there are 2 activities that can be done.

They can scan the Temporary Sign-IN QR Code. They will be asked to enter:

  1. Their name
  2. The Contractor name
  3. Their Phone number
  4. Estimated time of Departure
  5. Site Contact

By signing in they declare that they are qualified to complete their tasks on site.

Their details will be shown on the:

  1. Temporary Contractors tab
  2. The Contractor Sign In register

This will not create them in the system but it will give you a list of Contractors to create and start the proper process.


They can scan the QR Code that will allow them to create themselves as Staff in the contractors module via a specific QR Code unique for that Contractor.

  1. Click on Contractors > Contractors
  2. Locate the Contractor row
  3. Click on the QR Code icon on the same row as the Contractor (labelled as 'Generate Bypass QR Code'
  4. Read the pop up message
  5. Once confirmed it is the correct Contractor, click on 'Generate'
  6. Print or have the Contractor Staff scan the QR Code
  7. The Contractor Staff will need to enter their details
  8. They will then be sent the Online Induction via SMS to complete
  9. Once completed, they can then scan the normal Sign-In QR Code each time they visit your site
