What is an Incident?

An Incident is an unexpected occurrence resulting in an injury or damage to property or the environment or a near miss of the before mentioned.

An Incident could be the result of an identified or unidentified Hazard at the time of the Incident.

An Incident should be reported as soon as possible after it occurs and action should be taken to prevent a similar incident occurring again.
