What ‘compliance’ should I be checking with contractors I use onsite?
When contractors work at your property, we certainly have a duty of care to ensure they are licensed and qualified to do the work that they do for us.
This is to ensure the safety of our staff, visitors, members and guests, and also to make sure our facility is protected legally should they cause an incident, do faulty work or injure/kill someone when working at our site.
The Toolbox Platform has a simple, practical feature ‘Contractors’ that (in 60 seconds!) allows you to add a contracting company and the platform will send a polite email to them requesting whatever compliance information you like. It provides a personal link for them to upload their documents and then induction information and assessment for any of their staff who may be attending your property. Once inducted, contractor staff can sign in via QR code at your reception or main office into a digital register.
