Can I test the Emergency SMS?

Yes, there is a Test Emergency SMS available. The Test Emergency SMS allows you to select employees to send the test SMS to as opposed to the live Emergency SMS which will send the SMS to all Employees and Any Contractor Staff that have signed in but not yet signed out of the Sign In Register.

To send a Test Emergency SMS:

  1. Click on Contractors> Sign In Register
  2. On the date picker ensure that the 'Today' button is a Black button. It will be Grey if another date other than today is selected.
  3. Select which Employees are to receive the Test Emergency SMS
  4. Select which type of Emergency message to send (Be Alert, Evacuation, All Clear)
  5. The content of the Test SMS will displayed and highlighted in Red to show you what the recipients will receive.
  6. Click Test Emergency SMS

The Test Emergency SMS will be sent to those Employees that you previously selected.
