Can I use the Product Inventory as a Stocktake tool?
Yes, the Product Inventory allows for the entry of Product Quantities stored on site, called Stock Total. The value of the Stock Total figure is calculated on Product Quantities entered minus the Quantities used in Spray Applications. However, the Stocktake Tool is not recommended for Clubhouse or Cleaning usage.
Note: The Stocktake tool only has a practical use for the Course Maintenance Team as they monitor their Product usage very accurately, whereas in the Kitchen for example, it is hard to monitor how much of a cleaner is used each time. If using the Product inventory as a Stocktake tool, it has to be managed everyday to ensure the figures are accurate, otherwise it can become outdated very quickly.
The main thing to manage is Quantity In (Products delivered to Site) and Quantity Out (Product used in Spray Applications).
Quantity In - At the Beginning
- When adding Products into your Inventory, you can enter the stock quantity by editing the product and adding the Quantity.
Quantity In - Receiving Products
- When Products are delivered to site click on Our Tools > Products > Receiving Logs
- Click 'Receiving Products'
- Enter the Quantity of the Products that have been delivered (in Litres or Kilos, not boxes or containers)
- Click Confirm
If a product is not on the list, you will need to add it via the Product Inventory.
Quantity Out - Spray Applications
- Complete a Spray Application
- The Quantity used will be deducted from the Stock Total figure.
You can adjust the Stock Total figure at any time by editing the product and entering in the Quantity.
