How do I add a Product / Chemical / Pesticide?
You can add products to the inventory in two ways:
- Option 1: Add a Custom Product
- Option 2: Add from the Toolbox Product Database
Accessing the Product Inventory
- Click on Our Tools > Products > Product Inventory
- Click on '+ Add Product'
- Click '+ Add Custom product'
- Add Work Groups
- Add Manufacturer
- Type in the product Name
- Add the Treatment Group (i.e. Herbicide, Pesticide etc)
- Add Active Ingredients
- Enter the Formulation (e.g. Liquid / Granular)
- Enter the Product Label (optional). This can be a URL link to the suppliers website or upload the actual file
- Enter the Product Safety Data Sheet SDS (optional). This can be a URL link to the suppliers website or upload the actual file
- Upload a photo of the Product Container (Optional)
- Click Save
- Click on '+ Add Product'
- Click '+ Add From Toolbox Product Database'
- A list of Products will be displayed (24 per page)
- Use the page navigation numbers at the bottom to move to the next page or use the filters to narrow the search results
- Select the required Products
- When all the Products are selected, click Continue (do this in small batches in case your internet drops out half way through)
- A summary of your selected Products will be displayed
- Click Add/ Remove on Work Group
- Select the required Work Groups. Click 'Add To All' if the same Work Group is to be used for all products
- Click Submit
The Label and SDS are pre-loaded when you select each product.
