What do I do with a New Defect Ticket?
When a new Defect ticket is submitted you can review the ticket to see the issue.
- Click on the Repair/Works tab
- Create a Repair ticket within the Defect ticket. You can have multiple repair tickets per Defect ticket i.e. it might require 2 repair tasks to fix a broken hydraulic hose
- Add parts needed for the repairs
- Add labour hours needed and cost to repair the issue if required
- Take photos
- Add an Estimated Date of Repair (EDR)
- Save
When these repairs have been completed
- Add the Actual Date of Repair (ADR)
If all Repairs have been completed, click on the Equipment Status tab
- Click on yes to Close the Defect Ticket
- Save
