What is the Repairs/Works Tab used for?

The Repairs/Works tab within a Defect ticket is used to manage and track the repairs needed to fix the defect/damages on a particular piece of Equipment.

Parts, the cost, and the labour hours needed to fix the repairs can be entered along with an Estimated Date of Repair (EDR).

You can have multiple repair tickets per Defect ticket i.e. it might require 2 repair tasks to fix a broken hydraulic hose.

When a new Defect ticket is submitted you can review the ticket to see the issue

  1. Click on the Repair/Works tab
  2. Create a Repair ticket within the Defect ticket. You can have multiple repair tickets per Defect ticket i.e. it might require 2 repair tasks to fix a broken hydraulic hose
  3. Add parts need for the repairs
  4. Add labour hours needed and cost to repair the issue if required
  5. Take photos
  6. Add an Estimated Date of Repair (EDR)
  7. Save


When these repairs have been completed

  1. Add the Actual Date of Repair (ADR)


If all Repairs have been completed, click on the Equipment Status tab

  1. Click on yes to Close the Defect Ticket
  2. Save
